Our induction programme was an effective message in outlining the “GETTING STARTED” process for new students.

Our main objective was to assist new students, to quickly settle down and be part of our hospitality family.

Our induction programme focused on:-

  1. Welcoming and Introducing new students and the main facilities available.
  2. Vision Mission and Goals of the CCHMCT.
  3. Hospitality Industry culture.
  4. Main policy documents of the Maharashtra State Board.
  5. Working environment and full notion of Procedures, Regulations and Practices in areas of work in the Hospitality Industry.
  6. Highlights of Internships and Placements.


Ms. Leema Colaco, welcomed everyone to St. Andrew’s Educational Foundation, and introduced the college to the students, parents and guardians. She highlighted the high energy levels and enthusiasm expect through-out the year from the students.

She spoke on how privileged she feels to serve as a Training Placement Coordinator of St. Andrew’s College .

She told the audience that St. Andrew’s Educational Foundation has an outstanding reputation, and is proud to be part of such a wonderful program.

St. Andrew’s Hotel Management is filled with enthusiastic students willing to learn, supportive parents/guardians interested in their children’s education, and a dedicated professional staff committed to providing the students with quality education.

She also encouraged each parent/guardian to stay active in their child’s education.


Our Rector, Rev. Fr. Aniceto Pereira, began with a prayer, and invited the students to enter the industry being passionate, honest and hard working.

Fr. Aniceto Pereira also informed the scope the students have in large hospitality organizations such as hotel and restaurant chains, cruise liners and airlines

The blend of the Program of intensive classroom sessions, self learning, industry mentorship and counseling sessions. Learning current industry trends which offers scope for building case studies and writing dissertations in the selected areas of specialization, and the requirements from each students to make a successful carrier in this industry .

Fr. Aniceto then introduced all the staff members of the St. Andrew’s Educational Foundation’s CCHMCT. The staff introduced themselves mentioning the subjects they would be teaching and training the students in.

Course coordinator Mr. Randolph Joseph spoke about the academics as well as the campus facilities and support services available.

A presentation was put up in which the students have the opportunity to participate in paid internships, study tours and industry site visits and guest lecturers from the industry.

We also informed the students how they would be nurtured through permanent learning and skill improvement; and encouraged to do their best. We also informed the students that they are expected to:.

  1. Passion, personality and positive attitude.
  2. Excellent spoken and written English and confidence in expression.
  3. Good inter-personal skills.
  4. Strong commitment to a career.
  5. Committed attendances.
  6. Excellence in prior education.
  7. Above all service with a smile
